IVY & EVE was a major high-rise residential project delivered by Hutchinson Builders in South Brisbane. The project involved twin 30-storey towers, 476 apartments, shared podium works, basement construction and extensive resident facilities in a highly constrained inner-city location.

Australian National Construction Review featured the project and identified Nathan Burden as Project Manager. The article covered the delivery strategy, including the decision to treat each tower as a separate project while both towers were constructed at the same time. That approach required dedicated crews, strong sequencing, close coordination and clear communication across site teams.

The project demanded practical control of programme, logistics, access, safety, quality, subcontractor coordination and stakeholder expectations. Working in South Brisbane added further complexity, with construction activity needing to be managed around local traffic, nearby residents, neighbouring businesses and limited site access.
